Frequently Asked QuestionsAren't all Medicare plans the same? Are you a new company offering coverage to Medicare beneficiaries? How do I decide which plan is right for me? Do you have any plans available if I have Medicare Part B only? How do I know if my doctors are on your plan? How do I contact a live person to answer my questions? Does WINhealth provide Part D benefits? If I have Medicare, do I have to sign up for Part D? What can Medicare members do to choose the right Part D plan? Aren't all Medicare plans the same? No. There are different types of coverage available to Medicare beneficiaries, in addition to Original Medicare. Supplemental (Medigap) Insurance While Medicare is a government program, Medicare Supplement (Medigap)policies are offered by private insurance companies. Some supplemental policies will pay most or all of the Medicare coinsurance amounts. Some plans may also cover Medicare deductibles. Certain plans will also pay for preventive care, and emergency medical care in a foreign country. While Medicare supplement plans can fill the gap for costs not covered by Medicare and help with billing, they usually don't have a Customer Service Department that can assist you with questions such as how your benefits work or to help you find a particular type of doctor or care provider. WINhealth Partners does. They don't have disease management programs to help chronically ill individuals be sure they are getting the right care. WINhealth Partners does. And they may not have Part D prescription drug coverage. WINhealth Partners does. Medicare supplement plans may not have a lot of what you probably want.
A Cost Saving Alternative
A great option to help you save money and still get the care you are entitled
to is through a Medicare plan like the WINhealth Partners Medicare Plan. *A big advantage of the WINhealth Partners Medicare Plans is that you can choose from an extensive list of contracted doctors, specialists, and hospitals. You also have the option to see any doctor not on our list for Medicare- covered services. These services may not be covered by WINhealth Partners if you don't use a WINhealth Partners contracted Medicare provider. All people with Medicare are eligible for Part D drug benefits. You won't receive Part D coverage unless you enroll in a plan. Enrollment in a qualified Part D plan is entirely voluntary. But you should be aware that the longer you wait to participate in Part D, the more expensive the premium will be, unless you have other drug coverage that is just as good as Part D.
